This fun and very quirky theory project for my Human\Machine Interface class was designed and created by myself and a group of 3 others in about a week and a half. It was a response to the question: What would be the ultimate future interface? The website was intended to be a slightly over the top companion to a real-life model of the packaging that we showcased during a live presentation to talk about the theory. If the wealth of information available on the internet and from electronics was to be integrated as seemlessly as possible into our environment, then it should seem to literally be present in our environment with us. Thus the idea of a heads-up contact lens display was born.
I came up with the original concept for this project as well as organized its completion. The website above is a collaboration between myself and 3 other people. The website and "learn" page were written by myself, and the content on the "see" and "hear" pages were created by my group members.
Overall, given the time we had to work on this project, I was very satisfied with it. However, with more time, I would have particularly liked to see more refined interface examples and a consistent design theme amongst them.
