This is a professional web design project currently in progress with the SJSU Photography Department set for launching in late March 2008. I worked together with a friend of mine who is also a graphic designer. We created the original design, coded it, and are almost to the end of the testing and approval phase.
We focused specifically on three things for this website:
To accomplish the third item, I coded a php-based image selector that would randomly select from a library of images to display in the banner area. This includes display of the artist's name and title. This would give a visitor a wide selection of images from the department to view during their visit to the site. The color-scheme of the website had to be carefully chosen so that it would not clash with any of the images.
